HelloProjectWorld (HPW) is the fan site designed to provide English translated informations about Morning Musume and Hello! Project, mainly threads from Ookami (the H!P fan forum in 2channel). Our team consists of a very few people for now and has been struggling with our poor English skills. Even though there are several other sites also featuring translated 2ch threads in much better English, we still believe we could offer some uniqueness and interesting points of view to H!P fandom outside Japan. In exchange for our incomplete translations, we would try to introduce more detailed informations and explanations about H!P, Japanese culture, and its society. If you found something valuable that is available only in our site, we would be extremely happy and feel our efforts were paid. We hope you would enjoy our challenge!
I read all of these posts yesterday and it really made my day, thank you for doing these! I'm definitely looking forward to see more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. We'd like to try to upload as many posts as circumstances permit.
DeleteYou guys are awesome! hope this site becomes popular like Wota in Translation
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gustave. We respect all the fan sites run by H!P wotas abroad with huge enthusiasm. We hope we could make some contribution to our great world-wide fandom.
DeleteI really like this site. Thanks for your effort translating for us non Japanese fan of H!P. One thing, i just hope you also translate for the other group like Juice=Juice and C-ute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Our criteria for selecting 2ch threads to be translated basically depends on whether it's interesting or not. If we found some threads about the other group interesting, we'd like to translate them.
DeleteI really like the site design and love your work. The haropedia is extremely helpful in better understanding the esoteric Japanese wota slangs. Very interesting insight into Japanese culture and fandom. Do you guys take requests? I just hope you guys update this a little more often. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThanks, onionz. We're glad to hear you've enjoyed our site. We want to update the content more often, but our only translater has to spare most of his time for his job to live. I wish he could concentrate his efforts in running the site for the benefit of H!P fandom.
DeleteIt is a very good website; just need more frequent updates. It can be really popular like some other translation blogs. May be you should get a few more translators in your team..
ReplyDeleteYour suggestion is absolutely right. The problem is, it's hard to find someone who's capable of JPN-into-ENG translation and has comprehension of H!P as well. Moreover being enthusiastic enough to put much time and effort in the mission voluntarily is needed. Do you have someone like this around you?
DeleteYou can try posting a notice; like 'we are looking for translators' in your site and some other H!P blogs and forums.
DeleteWe'll think about it. Thanks!
DeleteVery good site; more update please!!
ReplyDeleteOur translator has been sick in bed for these past few weeks. Please give us some time.
DeletePlease use a twitter account to post when you update!
ReplyDeleteHopefully H!O can catch them quick :)
You can see our posts on twitter below now. We hope it'd be helpful.
DeleteIf you are interested in OnionLand; than please give him/her a chance.

Thanks for your reccommendation. Have you tell him/her about our site? If he/she knew our site and wanted to join our team, he/she could tell it to us here anytime. Anyway, he/she seems to have been applying for a translator of B!P, so let's wait and see for now.
